Pictures Week 4? All the feels week:

I took pictures of everything the last time I was here.
Just looking at the pictures I can smell the house, the basement, the yard, the garage.
It makes my heart ache a little and I'm so happy I took these.

I miss being here.

HOMEWORK BREAK!

I know I didn't post on my day, and I promise I will this week, but I have been dutifully doing my homework all evening. I have been listening to an absolutely phenomenal album on Spotify and I had to share it. I took a break because one of my favorite songs came on. It speaks to my soul. It's beautiful. So, if you want some culture and some feelings in your life, here it is! Enjoy! Love Mia!

I am having a hard time inserting the video so here is the link:

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uo5ZV84qrk

And here is the translation. It's in Russian. All the feels.

Pisen Rusalky O Mesiku (Song of the Moon), Rusalka's aria from Rusalka

Mesiku na nebi hlubokem O moon high up in the deep, deep sky,
Svetlo tvé daleko vidi, Your light sees far away regions,
Po svete bloudis sirokém, You travel round the wide,
Divas se v pribytky lidi. Wide world peering into human dwellings

Mesicku, postuj chvili O, moon, stand still for a moment,
reckni mi, kde je muj mily Tell me, ah, tell me where is my lover!
Rekni mu, stribmy mesicku, Tell him. please, silvery moon in the sky,
me ze jej objima rame, That I am hugging him firmly,
aby si alespon chvilicku That he should for at least a while
vzpomenul ve sneni na mne. Remember his dreams!
Zasvet mu do daleka, Light up his far away place,
rekni mu, rekni m kdo tu nan ceka! Tell him, ah, tell him who is here waiting!
O mneli duse lidska sni, If he is dreaming about me,
at'se tou vzpominkou vzbudi! May this remembrance waken him!
Mesicku, nezhasni, nezhasni! O, moon, don't disappear, disappear!

I know I didn't blog on my day, but Thursday was a crazy day.  Also because I take the bus, I have to add an extra hour anytime I travel anywhere.  I had 1 hour home between the times of 7 am and 10pm so...crazy.

Mia came for the weekend though and that's super awesome.  Even though we decided we were boring and did boring things together, it was nice to do those boring things with someone else.  We went to H&M, and Target, and the Grocery Store, and TJ Max.  And hung out with Emma and her babies for some of it.  It was awesome.

Next week I'm going home! So happy! Also so happy that I'll have a car and won't have to be dependent on anyone else for rides because that is literally the worst.  Because then you have to go and leave when they want and not when you want.  The Worst.  So I'm excited to have a car again.  Thank you Grandma.  So much thanks I can't even express.

I've been looking for jobs, and I might have an interview for one! It's not official, but she said she wants to set one up when I turn in my info and resume and all that stuff! I'm just waiting for letters of references from people.  It's super exciting.  If I get this job ( I know, its a big jump from a potential interview to getting a job but whatever...) I will be moving to Vegas! And getting an apartment with Angela and we are going to live together and it will be awesome! and I'll be in a city-where I can take horn lessons and prepare for grad school.  I would be teaching band and choir.  This is kind of the job that seems the best choice so far.  I really want it.

That's pretty much it for me.

I was going to post a video of a song Mia and I were just listening to, but I couldn't find it online.  So go to spotify, look up Cantus.  The Album is A Harvest Home, the song How Can I Keep From Singing.
