Idaho, the Last

Hi All,
Here are MORE pictures from Idaho.
I am not going to caption them. We all know who we are.
If you have questions about places, that's what the comments are for.
Enjoy!
Love you

Sam the Singer

Last night was the Major Work concert at the high school.

As you all know, our handsome Sam
 is now in concert choir.
And BHS Singers.

Way to carry on the tradition, Sam!

Sam and the proud mom,
(ugh! I thought my hair looked better than that!)

It was a really beautiful concert.
I loved the music that they chose.
Also, Mr Walsh never wants to talk to me,
(Or maybe anyone? Remember when we first moved to Buffalo
and he darted around the end of the aisle at Gordy"s so he could avoid talking?)
and tonight he sought me out to tell me what a beautiful job
Sam did on his solo. He just shook his head and said
how very, very musical Sam is. I pretty much was
busting my buttons. His big solo was the opening to
"Being alive" from the musical "Company".
And Mr. Henjum, who quit teaching Sam and
wasn't very nice about it, was very nice last night
and said how just fantastic his solo was.
And I was talking to Mrs. Starr, and her husband,
(who happens to be one of the nicest guys around)
with a big smile said, "Another beautiful Haggen voice!".

It made me so happy to see Sam recognized
in such a positive way.

I am working to put up a video, but it is giving me sass.
As soon as I can figure it out you will see and hear the solo.

Anyway, I love you all to bits
and wish for you a
maaahvelous day,
Daaahlings!
Mom

When music sounds, gone is the earth I know,
And all her lovely things even lovelier grow;
Her flowers in vision flame, her forest trees
Lift burdened branches, stilled with ecstasies.

When music sounds, out of the water rise
Naiads whose beauty dims my waking eyes,
Rapt in strange dreams burns each enchanted face,
With solemn echoing stirs their dwelling-place.

When music sounds, all that I was I am
Ere to this haunt of brooding dust I came;
And from Time's woods break into distant song
The swift-winged hours, as I hasten along.

I just want to share the pictures.

And believe it or not there are still about a gajillion pictures.
So, probably another post just like this one.
Love you!
